<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>Just a reminder that the January Business Meeting will be held tomorrow, January 20th at 8 p.m. at the New Road Building.<br><br>Please try to attend. All our meetings are important and if you want a say in the operation and future of the squad you have to attend the meetings to stay informed.<br><br>If you cannot attend a meeting or drill, you may be excused by the President or Chief (or you may ask the squad to excuse you by vote at a business meeting if you are denied).<br><br>I trust you to have a valid reason and do not pry, but you must email or call me to let me know you will not attend - no reason is needed.<br><br>Just so everyone is clear. Per the bylaws, an excused absence is not counted against you with respect to maintaining your voting privileges. However, it is considered an absence when it comes to eligibility to run for office. It also does not earn you any credit toward LOSAP.<br><br>Hope to see you tomorrow night.
