<p>As many of you are aware we are having trouble with the electrical outlets/circuit breakers in the meeting room, kitchen, office and rehab truck bay. This building was added in 1974 and the electrical conduits were placed in the foundation. Several electricians
have indicated the problem is likely due to deterioration of the electrical conduits in the foundation. Since we cannot dig up the foundation; we will likely have to have rewire the building outlets coming in from the ceiling. This will not be cheap and
will go way beyond the limited budget remaining for the house and grounds. While not critical to our operation, the presence of extension cords all over the building does pose a problem that we should try to remedy as soon as possible.</p>

<p>Additionally, our Medical Director, Dr. Harrison, would like to make a presentation to the squad with respect to the new protocols made available to EMT's by the State, providing the are approved by the medical director. He indicated he would like to do
it in June, but has not yet given me a date. </p>

<p>Rather than have the potential for 4 mandatory meetings this month, we have decided to move the schedule around so we only have the usual 2 meetings. On June 7th (next Wednesday) we will have the June business meeting instead of our drill. Keep in mind
that this is the last business meeting (unless there is a need for an emergency meeting) until September. I am told we will have the needed estimates for the repair work and the ways and means committee will review it prior to the meeting, so we can reach
a decision as to how to proceed. It will be a regular business meeting, so all committees should be prepared to give reports. This will be an important meeting, so it is hoped that all can attend.</p>

<p>The date for the drill will be announced as soon as I get the date from Dr. Harrison.</p>
