<p>I wanted to provide everyone with a brief update on the status of the work being done in relation to the electrical/building work;</p>
<p><br>
</p>
<p>As mentioned at the December meeting permits were issued on 12/8, and then after making some scheduling adjustments to accommodate us and get started prior to the beginning of this year the electricians started work on 12/18. At this time all of framing
is up for the walls and ready for inspection, which needs to occur after electrical rough inspection. The old electric work has been removed and the new load center has been installed and made live along with the couple circuits that are not being removed
(Heater,HVAC, A/C) BUT they did find they were in need of repairs which they made. They've installed a temporary fixture in the meeting room which is activated via a marked breaker in the load center, not that it should be needed often. They've completed
all of the above ceiling/in wall electric work in the meeting room and are ready for rough inspection which is scheduled for tomorrow 1/4/2018, in addition I've scheduled building inspection for tomorrow as well in anticipation of electrical passing so that
this can continue to move forward. At that time the plan is to continue with the electrical work in the bay & office area while the building contractor insulates and gets that inspection completed, my guess would be next week. Followed by the installation
of sheet-rock & then the grid throughout, once the grid is in the lights will be able to go in, outlets will also be installed during this process. Final inspection will then be needed prior to making everything live & all boxes plated, then the re-installation
of the cabinet & everything else on the walls will be performed. </p>
<p>Baring any issues or delays the goal is to have the majority of this work completed & most of the space usable by early February.</p>

<p>Also as mentioned at the November meeting during the demo work it was discovered the HVAC ducts were in need to immediate repairs in the meeting room area as there was sections collapsing & coming apart in the ceiling, upon the HVAC contractors assessment
of the condition of the ducts & it was determined that for several reasons the original fiberglass ducts needed to be removed & replaced. This is 90-95% completed, once the grid is installed in the office the new 2x2 defuser will be installed on the insulated flexduct
and then the system will be balanced. <br>

<p>Two items that remain open are the following;</p>
<p>-- paint color(s), I've received a lot of feedback/suggestions on this and will have paint swatches in the next few days which i will number and leave at the building for feedback on.</p>
<p>-- The tiles in the kitchen & closet across the hall and the insulation that is stacked in the bay, needs to be removed & placed in the dumpster if someone has time to do this in the next few days please let me know.<br>
