On Monday February 17,2020 at 9:00 PM, the County Radio System will be shut down for approximately 5 to 10 minutes for a system check ,software upgrade and maintenance. Immediately after the
shutdown/test, each of the 9 sites will be re-activated. It is anticipated that this will take in the vicinity of 2 to 4 minutes for each site to be restored in its entirety. At 8:45 PM, we will start a live broadcast count down on the county hot line. At
8:59, we will have an all-call broadcast on the county system of the shutdown. Should you have an emergency occurring at that time, please contact Mike Gallagher at 732- 486- 6232. The shutdown will be delayed until I am advised that all emergency calls have
been completed. If you have talk around groups in your radios, you can utilize them for the anticipated 5 to 10 minute shutdown. After complete startup, we will send out an all-call broadcast that the system is once again operational.
