We had requested and received a 30 day free trial of the device. This turned into a 60 day trial, because of the pandemic and because we could not run a drill on the item. It is better to vote now, rather then wait and incur the cost of shipping the unit

It is basically works like a KED with a lot of extra handles. and is easier to apply to a patient then a KED. It does not make the patient lighter, but does make securing a good grip and lifting position on the patient much easier. It reduces direct contact
with the patient and alleviates having to find a manner in which to grip the patient that does not cause pain to the patient (such as a patient with a bad shoulder that you cannot , therefore, grab under an arm). It is also easy to clean.</div>

(We are also looking into purchasing the Camelback device which is basically an inflatable that goes under the patient and inflates into a chair. The device helps get the patient into a sitting position if he can stand from there, but does not place the patient
in a standing position so they can be swiveled onto a stretcher. It also takes a lot longer to use, but would help for bariatric patients when no additional lifting assistance is available. However the unit costs over $3,200.00.)<br>
