Good afternoon everyone,

Hope everyone enjoyed the installation dinner and survived the epic blizzard.

I want to reach out to every member through this email to ask for your help.

The explorer advisors have implemented some new polices for the explorers this year and are holding them to a higher standard. We are now at a much
more manageable number of 27 kids. However, we cannot be at the building every night to ensure the kids are doing what they need to. We would like the members to be aware that the kids must complete ambulances checks at the beginning of their shifts. (NOTE: Adult members are still responsible for the status and condition of the trucks and the equipment in them). If you
are at the building when they are doing them, please sign off on the bottom of their sheets that they have completed this. Please feel free to spot check their work. The explorers are also to come dressed appropriately. If by chance they do not please contact me as soon as possible so I can contact the explorer. During the winter they MUST wear the red explorer jacket that
we provide. They can not wear their personal jackets. A few other points we just want to reiterate:

- Explorers under 18 are not permitted to handle oxygen. This includes carrying it and checking it.

- Explorers can NOT go to psychiatric calls.

- Explorers CAN go to motor vehicle accidents. HOWEVER, they can not get out of the ambulance. They must stay in the truck.

If at anytime you have an issue with an explorer please reach out to me as soon as possible. With your help we will be able to continue to improve the
explorer post and make them a valuable assets to not only the squad, but the community. Thank you for your help. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me.

Have a great day!

Head Advisor.
