All members,

 

Since the last business meeting and drill last night, we have made good
progress completing and closing our open charts. The end of this email will
have a list of EMT's that still have incomplete and open charts.  We are
also standardizing the numbering configuration of charts as follows.

 

All charts will have a South Brunswick number in the following format:

 

Year-Number  or 2015-100123 as an example.  For more than one patient, the
number will be followed by a dash and a Letter. 2015-100123-A,
2015-100123-B, etc. EVERY PATIENT will have their own chart with a number.
If more than one ambulance is on the call, the vehicle number will be added
to the call number.  2015-100123-A66-B.  For more than one patient on
multiple ambulances, the chart for the patient will have a letter added (for
that ambulance) as in the example in red.

 

Most of you are using this method at this time.  This is just a reminder for
you or direction for those not doing this as yet. 

 

Additionally all Franklin numbers will have the Year-Number method used.
i.e.:  (2015-34526)

 

With the charts being kept current, we can start doing QA on some of the
more common errors seen on the charts.
