Members:

Club Metro in Franklin Park owner got back to me and has agreed to give KPFARS a group basic gym membership at the same rate Fitness 19 was charging us. They will bill us quarterly in arrears and it will be effective March 1,2016.

From what I've seen and heard, Club Metro has nicer facilities and offers more programs then Fitness 19 did. The group basic membership just covers access fees and any additional costs for family, personal trainers, group classes, etc is the responsibility of the member.

I will be providing them with a list of the 10 or so members that were signed up with Fitness 19 along with registration forms, billing information and 501c3 documentation on Monday Feb 29th. If any other active members wish to join or rejoin this facility please email me by end of day Sunday.

Club Metro is in the shopping center at the corner of route 27 and South Middlebush road across from the Franklin Care Center. I don' know the hours but I'm sure someone can google it.

So effective Tuesday you can use the new facility. On your first visit you will have to complete a group waiver and information form which will be available at he front desk.

If anyone has any question or concerns please let me or Al know ASAP. Remember Al is on vacation this week and out of town.

He told me that all the First Aid membership were lapsed as the old mgmt didn't explain it to the new owners. He told me that they were having a meeting this weekend and would discuss with the new owners. Therefor I do not know if Retro Fitness would have the First aid listed as active members.

I left my number and they called back and I discussed this with the GM today. She was very supportive of keeping the same rate and billing that we had with Fitness 19. She was going to discuss it with the owner, who is due in tomorrow, and will get back to me.
