[KPFARS-Members] IMPORTANT: EMS Sunday Activities

Next Sunday, May 15, marks the beginning of EMS Week, which runs from May 15th thru the 21st.  This marks the 42nd Annual EMS week, since it was authorized by President Gerald Ford in 1973.
On next Sunday we will have events that will mark the day.  The first is a blessing of all those members that are interested at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church on Henderson Road in Kendall Park.  The blessing will occur at the 12 noon Mass.  You do not need to be Catholic to attend.  All you need to do is arrive at about 11:45 at the church.  Please come in uniform (dress white is preferred, but regular duty wear is also acceptable.  Feel free to bring your family.  If you plan on going, please let me know, so that I have an approximate count.
This will be followed by an Open House at our building on New Road, starting at 1 pm and running until 5 pm.  Again please come in uniform.  Family members are also welcome.  This will be open to the public, so even if you cannot make it, please let your friends and neighbors know, especially if they have any interest in joining our organization.  Again, please let me know if you will be attending so we can plan accordingly.  If you can help set-up, please let Matt M. or Srini V. know.
