[KPFARS-Members] REMINDER: EMS Week Open House is Tomorrow, May 21st at New Road Building

As you may already know, May 21-May 28 is EMS Week 2017.  This week annually serves to provide a spotlight on EMS and honor those first responders that provide the frontline aid when an injury or medical emergency arises in the community.


As part of EMS Week, we will be holding an Open House at our New Road Building starting at 1 pm and running until 4 pm, tomorrow, May 21st to kick off the week.  We will be setting up at noon and need as many members as we can get to help setup and then to help in actually manning the Open House.  We will also need some help taking everything down at 4 pm.  Please try to come and help show the community what we are all about and what we do.  If you cannot be there for the entire thing, please come and stay for as long as you can.  This is a squad sanctioned event and qualifies for LOSAP for those that participate in the event.


Preferably, we would ask squad members to attend in their dress uniforms, but if you cannot do that, at least wear a duty uniform.


Also, encourage your friends and neighbors to attend.

There will also be free training opportunities (some with a free meal) provided by area hospitals and other organizations, during the week.  Look our for announcements about those.
