[KPFARS-Members] CEVO Course

I will be teaching a CEVO (Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator) Course, next Saturday, April 28th from 10 am to 4 pm.  The course will be held at the Kendall Park First Aid Squad Annex Station on Henderson Road.

This is the recently released 4th Edition of the course.

Under the training guidelines adopted by our squad bylaws, all members must have proof, on record with the squad, of successfully completing an approved emergency vehicle driver course in order to drive a squad ambulance on an emergency call.  This is one of the approved courses.

If you are a new member of the squad and have not taken an emergency vehicle driver course, you will need to take this course (or an EVOC Course) before you can drive a squad vehicle on an emergency call.  If you are a squad member, who took an emergency vehicle driver course in the past, but cannot find their course completion card, you will need to take this course.  If you are an EMT that has never taken the CEVO4 course and are looking to get 6  elective CEU's for re-certification this course is for you.

The course is free to all squad members.  However, space is limited.  There are only 12 spaces available.  If you are interested in taking this course, please let me no ASAP, via return mail.  Spaces will go on a first come basis.
