As a reminder the SB Twp wide drill is tonight 9/25, it will kick off promptly at 19:00 we will depart the buildings at 18:30 to be at St. Cecilia's by 18:45 for staging and quick safety briefing prior to the starting of the drill. If you haven't yet let me know if you will be attending or not please do so this afternoon.

Some further details for operations of the event;

- EMS coverage has been scheduled for 1800-2130 to ensure in-town duty crews are able to participate in the drill

- All EMS communications will be on Group 43, I'd recommend turning scan off for the drill to ensure transmissions aren't missed

- Response from St. C's to Brooks Crossing School will be non-emergency

- Just prior to turning into Brooks Crossing School emergency lights are to be activated

- The safety word which can stop any part of OR the entire drill is "freeze" and once it is stopped can only be restarted by one of the controllers.

- ?The plan is to be concluded by 20:30 and restore all equipment & apparatus at that point to in-service and ready to respond state.

- The goal of this exercise is to assess all in-town disciplines needs in a safe & controlled environment, increase our interoperability efforts with other disciplines on accomplishing a common goal, and identify any areas on which future improvements may be needed.

?If you have any questions please let me know.

Thank you,

Brian

Subject: Live Drill 9/25/2019

As discussed at our June business meeting this month there will be a Twp. wide live drill. Per confirmation I received it will be held on Wednesday 9/25 starting at 19:00, it is expected to last approximately 60-90 minutes with a debrief following.
This drill will be held at Brooks Crossing School and should be a great training, learning and multi-discipline opportunity. This will NOT be an active shooter drill incase you were curious.
Hopefully as many people as possible can & will participate, we will need to meet at New Rd at 18:30 to be ready to head over. I'll have some additional/final details by the end of this week on the response plan/staging.
Please let me know ASAP if you will be attending.

-Brian
