All,
As you know South Brunswick Township doesn't send Paid Ambulance(SBEMS)
into Franklin Township and the same is the case if there is only 1
Volunteer ambulance in town.
As a courtesy to our First Responders and their families living in the
Franklin area we negotiated with the township and going forward if you or
your family needs an ambulance, tell the Franklin Dispatcher that you are a
member of Kendall Park First Aid Squad and request our ambulance any time
of the day or night. Of course subject to availability of ambulances.
Let your family members know about this as well.
Our SB Dispatchers are made aware of this new protocol.

Good Morning.
As you are aware, several of my Squad members live in Franklin Township
including myself.
I request you to approve this change in dispatch protocol when a request is
made for the family of any First Responder, be it a Fireman, Police or EMS.

If a caller or Franklin Dispatcher requests for an ambulance  for our
Volunteers, dispatch the available unit anytime of the day or night
Volunteer Rig or Paid Rig.

This is the least we can do for our dedicated Volunteers.

Appreciate your approval on this matter as soon as you discuss with
Communications.
