<div dir="ltr">All,<div><div>We will have a couple of Police officers from SBPD presenting in our March's Drill. </div><div>You have a month to rearrange your schedules to try and attend this drill. </div><div><br></div><div>Some of the topics covered are listed below:</div><div><ul><li style="margin-left:15px"><b>Crime Scenes: What EMS should do and shouldn't do</b></li><li style="margin-left:15px"><b>MVA Scenes:  What EMS should do and shouldn't do. Parking ambulance etc., </b></li><li style="margin-left:15px"><b>When we arrive on scene before PD, what precautions should we take? and when we should immediately call dispatch for more help.</b></li><li style="margin-left:15px"><b>Operating Emergency Vehicles: Safety, Traffic Rules, Crossing Highways etc.,</b></li><li style="margin-left:15px"><b>Psych Calls: Dealing with combative patients.</b></li><li style="margin-left:15px"><b>and some other topics, </b></li></ul><div>We need participation and attendance in these Drills and Business Meetings. There is no one in the squad that knows everything that drills are not needed. Unless you are a career medical professional or an instructor, these drills are extremely important. </div></div><div><br></div><div>We do understand that sometimes you may have classes scheduled or work or family commitments. It cannot be on each and every drill and business meeting night. </div><div>If you don't have more or less the same enthusiasm and interest in volunteering with the squad that you had when you joined the squad, you have a decision to make. </div><div><br></div><div>We have a lot of new members waiting to get shifts, I don't have any problem training them or making space for them. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Thank you for your cooperation. Let us work as a team or move on and do something else. </div><div><br></div><div>FYI. The Brooklyn Nets tickets are gone. As I mentioned, they are given to an member who attended the last 3 drills and helped us with the CoVID Testing last month.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Srini Vallury</div><div>Chief</div><div>KPFARS</div><div>732-512-7134</div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div></div>
