[KPFARS-Operations] Blue Light Permits

A blue light permit is required to operate a personally owned vehicle (POV) with a blue light in response to a call.  The POV must be operated in accordance with applicable State Motor Vehicle laws.

Permits expire 4 years from the date of issue (they must also be returned if you are no longer an active member).  They are agency specific.

Many permits were issued about 4 years ago.  Your permit may be expiring or will expire in the near future.  You may not have a valid permit as you never obtained one, but would like one.

I have attached a blue light permit application.  It can be completed on your computer.

If you would like a blue light permit, please complete it and place it in the chief's box by Saturday, June 21.
