Hi All,
Make sure you switch your portable radios top selector to position 3 at or after 9am Monday 19th October. If you have any South Brunswick radios that are not model XG-25 you will not function after 9am. I will try to get all of the mobile radios switched over before the shift Monday night. I will let you know if there is any changes to the plan.
Scott

All South Brunswick Township Radio Users,
We are still scheduled to switchover to the County radio system on October 19th. The switchover time will be at 9 AM and we ask that all radio users please make sure that their equipment is switched onto the County system at that time.
Because your equipment is programmed to power-up on the EDACS system, it will be necessary for us to reprogram radios so they will power-up on the County system. This will affect all of the mobiles in the Township. Most portables can be left on the County system using the top system selector knob. The fire department mobiles and portables will power-up on EDACS until they are reprogrammed.
This reprogramming could take several weeks, so we ask that all users be patient until we get the chance to reprogram your equipment. We will contact each department to schedule the reprogramming.
Please only contact us if your equipment is not working on the County system.
Thanks,
Ron
