We were recently offered to participate in a program where the N.J. Dept. of Human Services is providing free Narcan to EMS Agencies

We just received 24 boxes of Narcan Nasal Spray (4 mg.).  Each box has 2 nasal spray devices each containing 4 mg. of Narcan.  The second one is for a second dose for the patient, if needed.

The nasal spray devices require no assembly and do not need a mucosal atomizing device.

We have revised our protocol and are awaiting Dr. Harrison's approval.

We will briefly introduce them at the drill on Thursday and have a hands-on practice session at out next in-person drill.

We will use the generic naloxone hydrochloride boxes with a MAD until they are used up.
