[KPFARS-Operations] Five Minutes to Help Course

On Sunday, December 19th, the squad will be hosting a Five Minutes to Help Course.  This is a course designed by the N.J. Office of EMS in conjunction with Rutgers University.  It provides training and insight to EMT's on talking to patients suffering from Substance Use Disorder and provide motivational communication and guidance to these individuals.

The course will be at our building on New Road from 9 am to 1 pm.  There is no cost for the course and 4 CEU's will be awarded for attendance.  Additionally, there is a 1 CEU online pre-course,  Even if you cannot make the live class, you still receive 1 CEU for the online pre-course.

We will have four instructors, to maximize your ability to participate in the interactive exercises.

This is a great opportunity to earn a total of 5 CEU's, especially if you need some elective CEU's before December 31st.

A flyer about the course is attached..  It includes how to register along with a QR code, just scan the code and it will take you to the pre-registration form (it is affiliated with Penn Medicine. - that is the correct site.)
