[KPFARS-Operations] CEVO 4 - Ambulance Course

I will be conducting a Coaching the Emergency Vehicle Operator Course - Ambulance (CEVO4) Course this Saturday, February 12th.  (The 4 stands for 4th Edition and you do not have to take other courses before you can take this one.)

The course will start promptly at 9 am and is a 6-hour course.  We will take a 30-minute break for lunch.  It will be held at the New Road Building.

There is no CEU's being given for this course, and it is primarily designed for non-EMT's who do not need CEU's and want to be able to serve as a driver.

A CEVO course or a similar course approved by the EMSCNJ must be completed before a member can drive the ambulance with a patient aboard or when using emergency lights.  This course is a classroom course and does not involve actual driver training.

I have a limited number of response books for the course so registration will be on a first come first served basis.  Please reply to me at first_aider at msn.com to register.  There is no cost to squad members.

On Sunday, March 27, I will be running the same course from 10 am to 5 pm at the New Road building.  This course is for EMT's as 6 CEU's will be rewarded (pending approval).  You may also register for this course by emailing me.
