As many of you are aware, the introduction of COVID-19 vaccine booster shots and pediatric COVID-19 vaccines, coupled with the continued spread of COVID-19 within our State, has increased the demand for vaccinators. To ensure there are a sufficient number of health care providers in the state to fulfill this demand it is necessary to expand the pool of vaccinators to include Emergency Medical Technicians.



As such, the New Jersey Department of Health authorizes New Jersey certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to vaccinate for COVID-19 under certain conditions.
