Greetings,



We would like to inform you that there is a new phone number to use when
you need to contact the RWJUH New Brunswick Campus Emergency Department.
The number is 732-729-7076, and is a direct dial number which means that
you no longer have to go through the operator or the phone-tree to reach an
Emergency Department staff member.  That phone is staffed 24/7/365 by one
of our RN's.



Please feel free to call anytime, day or night, to advise us of:

Incoming patients where your BLS units requested ALS that were unavailable
for any reason.

Special circumstances such as a combative patient or need for
decontamination of biological/chemical contaminants.

Any time you or your organization respond to a possible multiple injury
incident, requiring more than 3 patient transports to our facility.

Or really any reason at all, we are more than happy to help.



It is our hope that by streamlining the communication process, we can
better integrate our patient care and continue to provide leading edge
Emergency Medicine to the patients that rely on our resources to keep them
healthy and safe.
