[KPFARS-Operations] LUCAS Demo and others

1. Friday 11/18 at 1900 we will be going through LUCAS and learn how to use it.  While there are tons of videos on Youtube, it’s hands-on training that is more important. Depending on the  count of members who show up we should be done before 8.30 unless you want to practice more.

2. Line and Executive nominations were done yesterday. Some of you were curious or didn’t know what are the functions and duties of each of these positions.  You can learn all these from our constitution and bylaws. A copy can be found on our website

3. Apart from the elected positions, I strongly encourage members to join the Committees that will be formed in January Business meeting. These are equally important for the functioning of the squad. Some of the Committees are listed below.  Each of the Committee will have a Chairman and members:
Computer: In-charge of upkeep of all our Hardware and Software at the building and Toughbooks etc. Research on tools to improve efficiency 

New Vehicle Committee: Research and identity what ambulance add ons are needed for the ambulance. Work with the Vendor and update the membership 

House and Grounds:  Helps in upkeep of our buildings 

Membership: Helps in recruiting 

Ways and Means: Cookies, Cakes & Ice-creams etc.,
