[KPFARS-Operations] November 2024 Schedule

The November 2024 schedule has been entered into Planit EMS.  Please refer to it for the most up to date information.

I have attached a copy of the final schedule for November 2024. This is for your reference as to when you are scheduled to run this month.  I will not be updating it on any sort of regular basis, so please refer to Planit EMS for the most up to date information.  If you have trouble accessing Planit EMS let me know.

We use Planit EMS to track shifts run for the purpose of calculating shifts run for LOSAP purposes.  If you do not let me know when you cover a shift or have someone else cover a shift for you, I cannot update Planit EMS and someone may miss their annual LOSAP payment.  If you do not know what LOSAP is or have not signed up, please let me know and I will explain it to you.

If you are scheduled to run a specific shift and find you cannot run, it is your responsibility to find coverage, it is not my responsibility nor the responsibility of Karthik, Hrushikesh, or Amar (who are working with me to prepare the scheulde) to drop everything we are doing to find coverage for you.  If you cannot find coverage than you must rearrange your schedule and cover your shift.  Although a volunteer agency, we provide an emergency service and when we do not have a crew and cannot respond, emergency medical care will be delayed which could lead to exacerbation of a medical emergency or even death due to delay in an EMS response.  Imagine how you would feel if a family member died because EMS response was delayed.

There are several holes in the schedule.  Please help us fill them in so that we do not miss any shifts.  I would request anyone who can fill a shift, please let me know ASAP.  This especially applies to members on the squad who are not on the current schedule and have not answered a call recently.  I have already started to write to some of these members asking them about their future status with the squad.
