[KPFARS-Operations] No Epi-Pen Jrs. Auto-Injectors in Ambulances

The Epi-Pen Jrs.(0.15 mg) in the ambulance are expired and have been removed from the ambulances.  The adult dose Epi Pen Auto-Injectors are not effected.

We ordered replacements over a month ago and the order was cancelled by our supplier (McKesson).  I placed a new order and called them, they said the order was not cancelled, but placed on hold due to low inventory and their allocation protocol.  I was told that we should get them delivered within a week.

I will let you know when it is back in our ambulances.

Remember to check the ambulance as close to the start of your shift as possible.  Make sure you check the expiration date of all medications.
