Fellow Officers, Council Membership and our Awesome Devils Fans,

   District Officers, please distribute to all your respected squads.

   Welcome to the 2023-2024 season. . This years First Responder Night is
earlier then last season. If you recall, I had asked for everyone’s input
on several dates. This survey went out to over 900 organizations and this
was the game that was the overall selection. The game will be on Friday,
December 1st.at 7:00 p.m. The Devils will be hosting the San Jose Sharks.

   I must sincerely apologize for the late notice. This was the result of a
couple factors. First and foremost, many of you were not aware that I had
suffered a severe heart attack in early August followed by a bad kidney
infection. So I was in and out of hospitals for a couple months. Also the
Devils were trying something new with regards to working with the group
leaders and setting up abd different way of purchasing tickets. So I didn’t
get the link until late.

   Once again, I must put this disclaimer of sorts out so that there is no
confusion, the contract that I signed was in MY NAME not the Councils and
the deposit submitted that of MY OWN FUNDS not that of any Council’s funds.
I apologize for that, but after last season, I was directed to make that
issue clear.

   This season, I reserved 120 tickets at various price points. I can
reserve more tickets as I did last year, but the deadline to at least sell
these tickets has to be November 27th by the end I’d the business day. That
only gives us a month. Last season, we sold 170 tickets in a little over a
month and a half. Yes,understandably last season we had the hype of a
divisional match up. If we don’t sell these tickets by the deadline, I will
be forced to turn the remaining tickets back over to them. Last season we
sold every ticket and more. We sold the most tickets then any other EMS
group in attendance last season and were recognized between the first and
second period. Does everyone recall seeing our emblem on the Jumbotron?
What an awesome sight. Let’s strive to do that again, spread the word!!!!!

   Just like last seasons First Responder Night, the event includes:

- Drawstring bag ( only for those 18 and under.
- Custom NJ Cevils First Responder Night Challange Coin
 - Post Game Photo on the center ice logo
 -  In game recognition
 - Jumbotron shoutout for your squad. Did you catch yours last season?

   I was told by our representative that she sent an email with the link to
purchase tickets last season out already, but I’m not taking any chances.
Besides, we may now have new people who wishes to join us who couldn’t make
it last season.
