The drill will start at the New Road Building at 7 pm (1900) on Wednesday, February 7th.
OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations require that each year we conduct training on bloodborne and airborne pathogens both lecture and hands-on. Regulations require that all personnel that may have patient contact participate in this training annually and we can be fined if we do not comply with this requirement. We will also provide you with instructions to be fit tested and obtain approval for use of a N-95 or P-100 mask in EMS situations. Healthcare providersSo please make every effort to attend.
I am aware that some members have work or school commitments on this evening. If you absolutely cannot make it, let me know and we will make arrangements to provide you with this training. Please let me know if you fall into this group.
See you Wednesday.
Thanks
