Subject: TRAFFIC NOTICE: Crane Lift Saturday 7/13, & Milling / Paving Week Of 7/15
<< Please forward this notice to anyone you feel would be interested in the information >>
Good morning, New Brunswick Directors and Rutgers Colleagues.
Please be advised of the following road closure and roadwork activity, both this Saturday and next week:
Saturday, July 13: Crane Lift
In order to support the ongoing electrical gear replacement project, a crane will be staged on French street, between Joyce Kilmer Ave. and Paterson Street. Access to the hospital loading dock and the Wellness parking garage will be open. Access to the hospital Ambulette entry will be on request with the New Brunswick Police Department.
Week of July 15:
Milling and paving work related to the Morris Cancer Center project will occur during this week, at the streets surrounding the project site. These are primarily Somerset Street between Hardenberg and Louis Streets, with side streets as well. Milling and paving will occur overnight between the hours of 5PM to 5AM, to minimize daytime traffic impacts. The following is the schedule for the week, with start time 5PM on each day noted:
* Monday, July 15: Eastbound lane of Somerset Street
* Tuesday, July 16: Westbound lane of Somerset Street
* Wednesday, July 17: Hardenberg & Condict Streets (All Lanes)
* Thursday, July 18: Division Street (All Lanes)
Please see the attached diagrams for each scope of work for more information.
Thank you for your patience with these traffic impacts as we complete these important projects. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me directly.
Thank you again.
Jeff
